Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a traveling Safety Manager to lead the safety program on renewable energy construction sites across the U.S., ensuring compliance with MSHA/OSHA and company policies. Expect 60% field time and frequent coordination with management and craft workers to drive Zero Injury goals.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year with a benefits package including a 401(k) match, healthcare, paid time off, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years construction safety experience.
• CHST or other BCSP certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage safety program on complex construction projects.
• Conduct workplace safety checks and initiate Stop Work Authority when necessary.
• Provide safety leadership to management and craft workers.
• Participate in safety committee meetings and prepare reports for site management.
• Administer drug and alcohol testing on site.
• Spend 60% of time in the field on job sites.
• Lead Hazard Communication and environmental program activities.
