Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Safety Manager I–III for renewables construction projects across the US. This role involves traveling to sites (up to 100%), planning and implementing the safety program, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate EH&S standards.

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct inspections, and coordinate with site teams to eliminate hazards. A CHST or related credential is preferred, with 2–5 years of construction safety leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of construction safety experience with leadership responsibility.
• 3–5 years for higher level roles; CHST or equivalent certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work onsite at project locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety programs on complex construction projects and ensure compliance.
• Lead safety committee meetings and communicate safety matters to management.
• Conduct safety checks, stop-work when needed, and promote zero-injury goals.
• Administer drug and alcohol testing; monitor incident reports and OSHA/MSHA requirements.
