Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Safety Professional to assist Safety Managers across US job sites. The role focuses on safety orientation, trainings, audits, and incident responses, with 80% field time and travel across the US.

Responsibilities include leading safety training, supporting incident reports, and enforcing SOPs and safety plans. Requires a high school diploma and construction experience, with strong communication and hazard recognition skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of construction experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of hazard recognition, record keeping and injury management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present safety training to support assigned job site and client requirements, including planning, documentation, and presentation of safety training
• Provide Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management and craft workers, resulting in excellent safety performance
• May assist with inputting and reviewing incident reports, including injury management as needed for work related injuries
• Assist in the execution of the jobsite safety plans
• Participate and promote the R4 committee and program
