Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for travel staffing opportunities. You will perform full nursing duties, from assessment to follow-up, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

The role requires an RN license, 1+ year of nursing and 6 months travel experience, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree. Travel may involve serving underserved communities with weekly pay and stipends.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in practicing state or multistate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Provide care across prevention, maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinate patient assessments, education, triage and nursing interventions.

Responsibilities Include

• Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide personalized patient care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Providing care across all phases of prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinating patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
• Practicing within the scope and standards of nursing practice as defined by state regulations and professional guidelines.

Qualifications Include

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if applicable.
• At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
• Residence at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.
• Required competencies and certifications maintained as per department standards.
