Job summary

Supportive Steps Services is seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The role involves providing ABA services in home and community settings, with emphasis on daily living skills and independence. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred to serve a diverse client population.

Shifts vary with client schedules; travel up to 50 miles from home is expected. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, ABA, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or related field.
• RBT certification preferred; willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and be comfortable driving clients.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 miles from home or assigned location; on-the-road work.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one adaptive skills support and behavior intervention in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with treatment team, caregivers, and clinical supervisors to implement goals.
• Teach and model behavioral, social, and daily living skills to foster independence.
• Document sessions and communicate progress to the clinical team.
