SUPPORTIVE STEPS SERVICES INC. seeks a highly skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support clients in home and community settings, promoting independence and life skills. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to serve our diverse population.

The role requires flexibility for daytime, evening, or weekend hours, travel up to 50 miles, and compliance with background checks and CPR training. Join a compassionate team dedicated to quality ABA services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or related human services field.
• RBT certification preferred; must be willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Willing and able to travel up to 50 miles from home or assigned location.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one adaptive skills support and behavior intervention in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with the treatment team, caregivers, and clinical supervisors to implement individualized goals.
• Teach and model behavioral, social, and daily living skills to foster independence.
• Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community participation.
• Support clients in vocational, volunteer, and recreational activities that align with their personal interests.
• Document sessions accurately and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Transport clients safely using a personal vehicle when needed.
