Supportive Steps Services Inc. in Willits, CA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality ABA services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or related human services field (Required).
• RBT certification preferred; must be willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and be comfortable driving clients.
• Willing and able to travel up to 50 miles from home or assigned location; this posting is for Lake County/Mendocino County/Hidden Valley.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks, CPR certification, and trainings.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one adaptive skills support and behavior intervention in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with the treatment team, caregivers, and clinical supervisors to implement individualized goals.
• Teach and model behavioral, social, and daily living skills to foster independence.
• Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community participation.
• Support clients in vocational, volunteer, and recreational activities that align with their personal interests.
• Document sessions accurately and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Transport clients safely using a personal vehicle when needed.
