Job summary

Hiab USA in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment at Hiab locations, following Manager’s instructions.

The role requires 1+ years mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience, a valid driver's license, a DOT medical card, and 100% travel.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card is required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• No more than one moving violation in the last year.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience.
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• This position requires 100% travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, report findings, initiate quotes, and service or repair equipment per Manager instructions.
• Maintain records and documentation to standards.
• Stay current with technical developments via bulletins and courses.
• Follow safety rules and environmental requirements.
• Promote Hiab brand and follow the Quality System.
• Recognize sales opportunities and inform the District Service Manager.
