Job summary

F3 Technologies is seeking a Traveling Field Implementation Technician to install, troubleshoot, and train on Point of Sale systems across the US and Canada. You’ll travel extensively, sometimes overnight, to venues such as restaurants, hotels, and stores, ensuring checkout and front-desk operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities include hands-on POS work, remote installations, issue resolution, and customer engagement during go-lives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Willing to travel up to a full week with overnight stays.
• Available to work four weekend days per month, plus early mornings, late evenings, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets requirements.
• Valid TSA-compliant ID (REAL ID) for travel.
• Valid passport with ability to travel internationally.
• Reside within a reasonable distance of a major commercial airport.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across locations/time zones.
• Continued education as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel Monday through Friday to customer sites across the United States or Canada to install, maintain, replace, and repair Point of Sale systems in person.
• Install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems with customer sites remotely, as assigned.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Lead high-level customer engagement during training, go-live, and troubleshooting services.
• Partner with scheduling and dispatch to manage travel itineraries and adapt to delays or reassignments.
• Transport, safeguard, and track company equipment and inventory while traveling.
• Submit expense reports and receipts according to guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Adhere to safety standards at all times, including while traveling.
• Additional responsibilities, as assigned.
