Job summary

F3 Technologies is seeking a Traveling Field Implementation Technician to install, troubleshoot, and train on Point of Sale systems across the United States and Canada. You will travel frequently, staying in hotels and visiting diverse customer sites to ensure checkout environments run smoothly.

The role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to manage travel schedules while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to a full week with overnight stays.
• Available to work four weekend days per month.
• Valid drivers license and driving record meeting company and rental car requirements.
• Real ID or equivalent for TSA travel.
• A valid passport for international travel.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of a major commercial airport.
• Some roles may require travel to multiple locations and languages per hiring process.
• Continued education as required by partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Travel Monday through Friday to customer sites across the US or Canada to install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems in person.
• Install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems with customer sites remotely, as assigned.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Lead high-level customer engagement during training, go-live, and troubleshooting services.
• Partner with scheduling and dispatch to manage travel itineraries and adapt to delays or reassignments.
• Transport, safeguard, and track company equipment, tools, and inventory while traveling.
• Submit accurate expense reports and receipts per company guidelines.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used, with all mandatory documentation.
• Communicate with customers and team members professionally and courteously.
• Adhere to safety standards at all times, including during travel.
