Job summary

Virginia Eye Consultants seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage clinic flow, address patient needs, and coordinate schedules across Norfolk and Hampton locations. The role requires reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices, with mileage reimbursed and hourly pay.

The candidate will collaborate with the Operations Manager to enhance patient experiences, handle communications, and support staff across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Ability to work weekends when applicable.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of the clinic and address patient needs and concerns during visits.
• Communicate delays to Clinic Manager and team to minimize patient inconvenience.
• Coordinate appointments and resolve miscommunications relating to scheduling.
• Resolve patient issues related to appointments, timeframes and staff communications.
• Greet guests and minimize interruptions to ensure doctors see patients on time.
• Assist with concierge service initiatives with the Director of Patient Experience.
• Coordinate events with the CEO and Director of Patient Experience with community partners.
• Monitor satellite locations' supplies and inventory, ensuring readiness.
• Travel to all satellite locations and support daily operations and culture.
