Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Patient Coordinator in Norfolk, VA. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a warm greeting, accurate check-in/out, and smooth front desk operations to support our ophthalmology teams.

The role requires excellent customer service, basic office software skills, and a willingness to work across multiple locations. A high school diploma and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (external and internal) and assure courteous service.
• Manage patient flow and ensure timely check-in/out.
• Greet patients promptly and thank them when they leave.
• Maintain accurate fee knowledge and collect payments.
• Reconcile daily cash and perform end-of-day duties.
• Support general office duties as assigned by manager.
