Job summary

Acuity Eye Group is seeking a Back Office Technician (Floater) to support multiple clinics within the region. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist ophthalmic staff, document findings, and help maintain efficient patient flow across sites.

The role requires travel between clinics, basic eye care procedures, and strong communication. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; ophthalmic experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel to multiple clinics within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Perform refractions and Visual Acuity assessments.
• Administer IOP tests and take Fundus photos.
• Conduct Visual Field tests and Fluorescein/Indocyanine Angiography procedures.
• Maintain clean, sterile exam rooms and provide patient education.
• Document ocular examinations and update CareCoud/EMR.
