Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years practice experience or related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance theory, and ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the physician practice, including front and back office functions.
• Under the direction of the manager, supervise staff, interview, hire, train and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership and health professionals to achieve goals.
• Assist manager with managing financial and revenue cycle metrics, including staffing hours, budgets, patient volumes, and revenue cycle processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to HIPAA and privacy policies.
