Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced professional to support Superintendents and Foremen on critical facilities/data center projects in Austin, TX. Travel will be heavy, and you will oversee field labor assignments, QA/QC guidance, and Self-Perform opportunities.

The role reports to the Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager, with a salary range of $200,000–$250,000 annually. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience, plus proficiency with SAP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 10 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and SharePoint preferred.
• Ability to travel 50%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager for assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
• Assign and coordinate trade field assignments across projects.
• Support Superintendent throughout the duration of the project.
• Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foremen and ensure ROJ dates are met.
• Document field issues affecting budget, quality or schedule and report to project management.
• Provide oversight for development and maintenance of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Provide guidance in implementation of QA/QC program.
• Identify Self-Perform opportunities and assist in the development of Self-Perform proposals.
• Manage Self-Perform performance.
• Work with BU Safety Director to implement the BU Safety Program.
• Manage ReCAP progress reviews for field trades.
• Maintain progression/succession plan with Operations Manager.
• Manage training for tradesmen.
• Support development of operational plans for pursuits and logistics during pre-construction and early project activities.
