Job summary

Turner Construction Company is hiring for a full-time traveling Superintendent–Mechanical-Electrical to lead and coordinate MEP work on a Data Center/Advanced Technology project in the Austin, TX area. The role requires 70-80% travel and oversight of subcontractors, safety, schedule delivery, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers and architects, managing field teams, and driving startup, commissioning, and turnover processes for all systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of engineering/architectural experience.
• Minimum six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractors and Turner trade labor for MEP systems.
• Develop schedules and sequencing, manage budget adherence.
• Maintain site safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers on field issues.
• Monitor progress, oversee inspections, startup, commissioning and turnover.
