Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our HR Business Partner and field operations in Northlake. This role requires 50-75% travel and a strong focus on employee relations, investigations, performance management, and HR initiatives across multiple sites.

You will conduct weekly meetings, provide HR guidance to management, resolve complex employee relations issues, and help drive engagement, retention, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a broad HR capacity.
• Experience handling employee relations issues, investigations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines.
• Experience supporting multi-site field or high-volume operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Partner with HRBP to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and investigations.
• Understand and utilize HR data to drive initiatives per HRBP direction.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
