Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a skilled Field Engineer with a proven ability to coordinate complex construction projects. You will handle questions on drawings, specs, shop drawings, and change orders while maintaining productive relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Step I/II/Senior progression rewards increasing responsibility: procurement scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and near-term project closeout. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
• Four-year construction degree or equivalent technical training, plus 3–4 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to supervise Field Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of PMP components and change management processes to ensure project success.
• Develops procurement schedules, coordinates submittals, and ensures contract compliance.
• Administers prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders, and manages cost control within budget.
• Maintains As-built documents and compiles close-out requirements such as manuals and warranties.
• Plans, develops, and mentors the project team to ensure relentless execution.
