Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer Assistant to support the project team on technical information, drawings, specs, submittals and change orders. You will help prepare RFIs, meeting minutes and documentation while maintaining relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

The role offers a clear progression path (I, II and Senior) with emphasis on learning project controls, BIM coordination and LEED-related tasks, all within Sundt's

Qualifications

• Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks; reviews submittals, change orders, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Supports in budget forecasting and project scope activities; helps ensure timely documentation like meeting agendas and daily reports.
• Contributes to safety culture and quality management on the project.
• May assist with BIM coordination between Subcontractors and Designers and LEED documentation.

Education

Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience
