Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer II to support heavy civil and underground utility projects. You will serve as the technical info source, managing drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in similar roles, strong communication, and the ability to supervise Field Engineers.

Qualifications

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training.
• 3–4 years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise team.

Responsibilities

• Understand PMP components and change management processes to ensure project execution.
• Develop procurement schedule and coordinate with CPM schedule; review submittals.
• Administer contracts, budgets, and cost control within approved budget.
• Prepare and maintain As-built documents, close-out requirements, and logs.
• Mentor Field Engineers and coordinate meetings/minutes for project teams.
