Sundt Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant in Charlotte, NC to support the project team with drawing coordination, submittals, and change order processes. You will assist in maintaining as-built drawings, RFIs, meeting minutes, and cost reporting, while upholding safety and quality standards on site.

The role provides a growth ladder (Steps I, II, Senior) and requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience, with proficiency in Microsoft

• Ability to assume responsibility and communicate with stakeholders.
• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and processing submittals, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Support in budget forecasting, cost control, and reporting through timely data gathering and documentation.
• Help manage project quality controls and safety culture on site.
• Contribute to BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers as needed.
• Assist with LEED documentation and digital record drawings (ORD) as applicable.
• Provide site records, lines, grades, and daily/weekly quantity tracking as required.
