Job summary

IES Communications seeks a General Superintendent to oversee medium to large-scale projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance. You will lead project teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure quality across the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of supervisory/lead roles in telecommunications or related fields, proficient MS Office/MS Project skills, and ability to interpret blueprints. Travel within branch/regional territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficient with a computer and be skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Must have demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, create an estimate, develop tasks and manage to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and meetings; oversee planning through completion.
• Direct workforce allocation, staffing, and workload distribution.
• Monitor progress; ensure on-time delivery and budget compliance.
• Oversee financial reporting, invoicing, and cost control.
• Maintain customer relationships and serve as primary liaison.
• Ensure quality standards and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Promote safety culture and improve processes.
