Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to lead medium to large projects, ensuring safety, quality and financial performance. You will recruit and manage staff, coordinate with customer representatives, and drive on-site installation and delivery. Strong MS Office and field tool experience are required, with travel within territory expected.

The role requires several years of supervisory and telecom experience, plus ability to define scope, estimate and close projects to meet company targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Minimum 3 years as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum 5 years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company driving standards.
• Ability to define a project, create a scope, estimate and manage to completion.
• Experience with the listed trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, promote, and discipline project staff.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan and monitor project profitability and deadlines.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manage workload, staffing and progress of installation.
• Review job costs, invoices and financial reporting.
• Complete paperwork and close out jobs accurately and on time.
• Lead on-site meetings and ensure safety and quality.
• Manage tools and truck inventory/maintenance.
• Travel within branch and regional territory as needed.
