Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent for our National Healthcare Division with travel requirements. The role will lead complex projects, develop the project plan, and oversee safety, scheduling, and cost control.

You’ll manage field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while coordinating with owners, design teams, and authorities. Ideal candidates have 12+ years in construction, strong leadership, and expertise in Lean principles, with a Bachelor’s degree in construction

Qualifications

• Leads safety culture with injury-free environment and mentoring.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Plans construction sequencing and project goals alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of projects from planning to completion.
• Run daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
• Attend progress and OAC meetings with owners and architects.
• Develop and track project schedules and budgets using PM tools.
• Ensure QA/QC standards across self-perform and subcontracted work.
