Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to lead complex projects within our National Healthcare Division. You will develop the project plan, oversee team performance, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on multi-site healthcare construction efforts.

You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with owners and design teams, and lead daily standups and OAC meetings while driving Lean practices, budgeting, and resource planning across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
12+ years construction experience.
10+ years field supervision experience.
Experience leading Lean principles on projects.

Responsibilities

Lead safety culture and investigations; mentor staff and ensure injury-free environment.
Manage subcontractors and organize overall job and workflow.
Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
Coordinate care, custody and control of the project site.
Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participate in OAC meetings.
Create and manage project schedule with Project Manager.
Monitor budget and costs using cost reports.
