Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Assembler to join our National Field Service team. The role involves traveling across the United States to assemble heavy mining equipment on-site, often staying on the road for up to six weeks at a time with substantial overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include field assembly of rope shovels and electric-drive truck assemblies, welding, and on-site maintenance and repairs in the West/Southwest regions.

Qualifications

• On-the-road schedule: up to 6 weeks away
• FCAW welding test completion
• AWS D1.1 certification required
• MSHA training preferred
