Job summary

Arrow International is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site and remote support for customer equipment, including installations, troubleshooting, and training. Extensive travel (often over 75%) is required to install, upgrade, and service gaming devices across venues.

The role emphasizes timely problem resolution, documentation in Salesforce, and strong customer communication. An associate degree and hands-on electronic/PC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in computer technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years’ training or commensurate experience in electronic and PC technologies.
• Familiarity with SQL, Windows Active Directory, Networking, Windows OS, and Windows Server.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• PC hardware and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated to work independently.
• Effective planning and organizational skills to manage time and call load.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Experience with proprietary software a plus.
• PC applications support experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose software and hardware problems for customer equipment.
• Log service calls in Salesforce and document details.
• Provide remote phone support when not traveling.
• Escalate tier 2/3 issues as needed.
• Escalate any support issues to management in a timely manner.
• Work toward above-average first-visit resolutions.
• Coordinate parts orders, RMAs, and technical assistance with distributors.
• Perform on-site installations and support; overnight travel may exceed 75%.
• Assist customers with configuration and programming of Arrow equipment.
• Train distributors and customers on Arrow equipment.
• Exceed customer satisfaction objectives as outlined by management.
• Recommends and executes timely solutions.
• Follow up with customers as needed.
• Work from home effectively with high-speed internet access.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
