Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support across CVS Pharmacy locations. You will maintain and repair computer systems, hardware, and store technology, including POS and pharmacy systems, while collaborating with remote IT teams.

The role requires travel within the Marietta/Kennesaw GA area, hands-on hardware troubleshooting, and strong customer service. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 75 lbs are essential, with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, repairs, and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations
• Willingness to travel frequently between CVS Pharmacy locations within Marietta/Kennesaw GA (must reside within the service area)
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and occasionally work on ladders

Responsibilities

• Travel between CVS Pharmacy locations to provide on-site technical support and maintenance.
• Deliver hands-on support for store systems, including POS systems, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements.
• Install and integrate new technology in stores, including setup and configuration of POS terminals, peripherals, and network connectivity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to escalate and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to store colleagues while troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Manage inventory of IT parts, tools, and supplies; track stock and place orders as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent service needs as required.
