Fives Landis Corp is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installations and service work in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role emphasizes travel to client sites, hands-on equipment setup, testing, and rapid response to issues, with a strong focus on precision grinding technology and CNC machinery.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in field service, a High School diploma or GED, and knowledge of precision cylindrical grinding, plus familiarity with CNC servo drives and PLCs

Competenze

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years of field service experience.
• Knowledge of precision cylindrical grinding; centerless and double disc grinding a plus.
• Understanding of CNC machines with servo drives & motors and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens).

Mansioni

• Set up, integrate, and thoroughly test equipment at client locations.
• Demonstrate equipment performance and confirm proper operation.
• Provide rapid support for critical equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform emergency repairs by diagnosing issues and implementing solutions.
• Educate and assist clients on proper equipment operation.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison and resolve issues.
• Submit detailed service reports with parts, time and actions taken.
