FIVES LANDIS CORP is seeking Field Service Technicians to join its service team. Location flexibility allows applicants from Ohio to apply; work may be remote with travel up to 75% to client sites.

The role involves setting up, testing, and maintaining precision equipment across multiple industries, with competitive hourly pay and a strong benefits package. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of field service experience.
• Knowledge of precision cylindrical grinding; centerless & double disc grinding a plus.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and servo drives/motors.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens) preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 75% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up, integrate, and thoroughly test equipment at client locations.
• Demonstrate equipment performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide rapid support for critical equipment failures.
• Perform emergency repairs and diagnose issues.
• Educate clients on proper operation to maximize efficiency.
• Submit detailed service reports with parts used and actions taken.
