Job summary

Swan Analytical USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. This role encompasses on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments at customer sites, with up to 100% travel (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities include installation and commissioning, preventive maintenance, technical support, and customer training to optimize instrument performance. You will maintain detailed service records and stay current with SWAN product advancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or on-site instrument support.
• Ability to install, calibrate and commission analytical instruments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission SWAN instruments at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure peak performance.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument issues promptly.
• Repair, replace, and upgrade components as needed.
• Train customers on instrument use and calibration.
• Maintain service records and reports.
• Stay updated on product developments and industry trends.
