Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, activate, and troubleshoot residential and commercial internet, video, and voice services. You will work as the primary on-site representative, handling fiber and copper connections, configuring CPE, and ensuring customers receive reliable connectivity.

The role requires extensive travel and a strong focus on safety and customer service, with opportunities to work across a variety of residential and business environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work in customers' homes and businesses professionally.
• Comfort using ladders, hand tools, and basic power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency and MS 365 apps.

Responsibilities

• Install, activate, and troubleshoot internet, video, and voice services.
• Configure CPE and ensure reliable connectivity.
• Route and secure cabling; mount ONTs as required.
• Test routers, Wi-Fi, video, and voice equipment for quality.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and Wi-Fi optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues in homes and businesses.
• Document installations and test results using company systems.
