Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, activate, and troubleshoot residential and commercial internet, video, and voice services. You will work on fiber and copper connections, configure customer premises equipment, and ensure a reliable, high‑quality installation experience as the on‑site representative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work in customer homes and business environments professionally.
• Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and basic power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft 365 apps.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate residential and commercial internet, voice, and video services including fiber and copper connections.
• Route and secure indoor/outdoor cabling, install network interface devices and ONTs as required.
• Configure and test routers, Wi-Fi systems, video and voice equipment, and connected devices.
• Verify signal levels, service speeds, and overall service quality with approved testing tools.
• Educate customers on equipment operation, Wi-Fi optimization, and basic troubleshooting.
