Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, activate, and troubleshoot residential and commercial internet, video, and voice services. You will work as the on-site representative, delivering fiber and copper connections while configuring CPE and ensuring reliable connectivity.

The role requires high travel demands and strong customer service skills. Candidates should be comfortable with hands-on technical work and operating company systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work in customer homes and business environments.
• Ability to safely use ladders and basic power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use Microsoft 365 applications and mobile field service apps.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate internet, video, and voice services from the external network to CPE.
• Route, secure, and mount cabling and devices at customer sites.
• Configure routers, Wi‑Fi, and related equipment for optimal performance.
• Test service levels and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Document installation details and service activities in company systems.
