Job summary

Cutera, Inc. is seeking a passionate Field Service Engineer to provide on-site service for a broad range of medical technologies including laser and optical delivery systems, RF and CO2 devices.

The ideal candidate has a strong electronics background and field experience, and will support customers at KOLs, dermatologists, and plastic surgeons. This role requires traveling ~80% with overnights, coordinating with dispatch and regional teams, troubleshooting down to component level, and ensuring

Qualifications

• BS or AS in Electronics, Laser Technology or equivalent Field or military experience with 4+ years troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of optics, electronics, and mechanical principles; troubleshoot to component level.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous technical service to Cutera customers.
• Maintain operational quality of systems and train customers on use and maintenance.
• Document all service activities per FDA requirements.
• Collaborate with dispatch, other Field Service Engineers, and sales to optimize calls.
• Develop resolutions for complex troubleshooting problems and cost containment.
• Promote service contract revenue and timely RMAs/expense reporting.
