Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Senior Tech Field Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves onsite hardware and software support, installation, and repair, with extensive travel across Oklahoma to client sites.

Responsibilities include owning field service activities, performing advanced hardware maintenance, diagnosing issues, and maintaining service records. Travel to multiple locations and completion of administrative reporting are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CompTIA A+ certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of starting.
• Hands-on experience repairing laptops and desktops.
• Ability to work at customer locations and travel across Oklahoma.

Responsabilités

• Provide field engineering support for assigned customers with complex technical requirements.
• Take ownership of onsite service activities and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Perform advanced hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and low-complexity installation activities.
• Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues at customer locations.
• Use technical tools to resolve problems and complete scheduled installations.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical assistance and expertise to other team members.
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and performance reports.
• Communicate technical issues and service improvements to management.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Lawton, and Tulsa, with up to three hours drive.
• Complete administrative tasks, including real-time time and location reporting and service ticket documentation.
