Bon Appetit is seeking a Traveling Support Executive Chef to provide hands-on culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. You will report to the Regional Vice President and be deployed to locations experiencing transitions, openings, or operational challenges, elevating food quality and guest experiences.

The role requires quickly assessing operations, building trust with teams, and delivering culinary excellence while mentoring staff and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume foodservice or contract dining.
• Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership and operational support across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement solutions to improve quality, consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation and recipe execution.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation and allergen management compliance.
• Support new account openings, including menu implementation and team training.
• Partner with leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage food cost, inventory, purchasing and waste reduction initiatives.
• Mentor chefs and culinary teams through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Contribute to culinary standards, training materials and SOPs.
• Build relationships with clients and teams while promoting collaboration.
• Travel extensively to support locations regionally.
