Bon Appetit is hiring an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to provide hands-on, executive-level culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. The role reports to the Regional Vice President and supports locations during leadership transitions, openings, or operational challenges.

Success hinges on rapid operations assessment, building trust with teams, elevating food quality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume foodservice or contract dining.
• Proven track record as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP and kitchen ops management.
• Experience supporting multi-site improvements and leadership transitions.
• Able to travel extensively and communicate effectively with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Assess kitchens and implement solutions to improve quality, consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain culinary standards, recipe execution and dining experiences.
• Ensure food safety compliance and allergen management across operations.
• Support new account openings, training, and launch execution.
• Mentor chefs and culinary staff through coaching and hands-on leadership.
• Drive cost control, inventory, purchasing and waste reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients and operations to optimize portfolio performance.
