Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Traveling Support Executive Chef to provide hands-on culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. You will report to the Regional VP, guiding operations, training teams, and elevating food quality in diverse settings.

This role demands rapid assessment, operational stability, and strong collaboration with culinary and operations leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Travel ~85% and proximity to a major airport are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume settings.
• Executive chef or equivalent leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage multi-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Improve food quality, consistency, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and recipes.
• Ensure food safety compliance and allergen management.
• Mentor chefs and culinary teams, driving training and development.
• Support new account openings, menu implementation, and launch execution.
• Manage food cost, inventory, and waste reduction initiatives.
