Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to lead culinary operations across a portfolio of accounts, reporting to the Regional Vice President. This hands-on role requires deploying to sites during transitions, openings, or operational challenges to elevate food quality and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in large-scale foodservice settings.
• Proven track record as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP and kitchens operations.
• Experience supporting multi-site or contract dining environments.
• Ability to assess problems quickly and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with teams and clients.
• Financial awareness in food cost, inventory, and labor management.
• Willingness to travel extensively and operate across diverse accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership and operational support across multiple accounts during leadership transitions.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement solutions to improve quality, consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Champion culinary excellence with high standards for food quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and allergen management.
• Support new account openings with menu implementation and staff training.
• Partner with leaders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Support food cost management, inventory controls, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Mentor and develop chefs, managers, and culinary team members.
• Contribute to culinary standards, recipes and training resources for consistency.
• Build strong client relationships and foster a collaborative culture.
• Travel extensively to support locations across the region and portfolio as needed.
