Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef for Traveling Support to lead culinary operations across a portfolio of accounts. You will assess operations, mentor teams, and drive culinary excellence while ensuring safety, quality, and consistency, even in new openings and transitions.

The role requires extensive travel (about 85%), strong leadership, and a track record in contract dining or hospitality. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high‑volume environments.
• Proven executive chef or senior leadership track record.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP.
• Experience supporting transitions, openings, or multi‑unit settings.
• Able to travel extensively and manage remote teams.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions and openings.
• Improve food quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards for presentation, recipes, and dining experiences.
• Ensure food safety, HACCP, allergen management, and compliance.
• Support new account openings, training, and operational setup.
• Mentor chefs and culinary staff; drive continuous improvement.
• Support food cost management, inventory, and waste reduction.
• Build client and team relationships and travel regionally as needed.
