Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support, to provide hands-on culinary leadership across a portfolio of accounts. The role reports to the Regional VP and focuses on elevating food quality, kitchen standards, and guest experiences while managing transitions, openings, and operational challenges.

Ideal candidates will have extensive executive kitchen leadership experience, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to travel ~85% to support diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume environments.
• Proven track record as Executive Chef or equivalent leadership.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership and operational support across multiple accounts.
• Assess kitchen operations and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Champion culinary excellence with high standards for food quality and presentation.
• Support new account openings, including kitchen readiness and training.
• Partner with operations to identify opportunities for improvement and cost control.
• Travel extensively to support locations across the region.
