Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our telecom construction crew across Arizona and surrounding states.

Responsibilities include operating CAT 308 mini excavators on civil projects, maintaining safety, and supporting conduit placement to keep production moving. Projects rotate approximately every four weeks; travel is required and competitive hourly wages plus benefits apply, including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, LOA and a strong safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of excavator experience in civil construction, roadbuilding or utility work.
• Experience with fiber optic or underground utility installation is a strong asset.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret utility locates.
• Strong understanding of safe digging practices and job site safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate CAT 308 mini excavator for civil construction and earthwork activities.
• Excavate around underground utilities following locate procedures and safe-dig guidelines.
• Place soil and aggregate in lifts to support compaction.
• Assist with conduit placement and cable installation to keep production moving.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance to keep equipment reliable.
• Support crew with hands-on labor and teamwork, communicating clearly with the crew and supervisors.
