Job summary

Mortenson Construction seeks an Associate Equipment Specialist - Traveler to support day-to-day operations of the Equipment Solutions organization across sites and facilities. The role involves extensive travel and coordination with project teams, facilities, buyers, and HQ leadership.

You will manage orders, sourcing, invoicing, and inventory while building strong relationships and providing equipment solutions and maintenance guidance on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of rental equipment or related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.
• Willingness to travel 100%.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process equipment facility orders and returns.
• Source equipment internally and via third-party suppliers.
• Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals.
• Reconcile contracts, invoices, and work orders daily.
• Support electronic and physical inventory management.
• Maintain inventory reports and data accuracy.
• Update task codes and off-rent dates per project input.
• Provide equipment solutions and maintenance recommendations.
• Collaborate with project teams across diverse backgrounds.
