Mortenson Construction seeks an Equipment Specialist- Traveler to support project teams with equipment management, orders, and billing. This role requires extensive travel (3-4 weeks on-site, ~1 week at home) and close collaboration with rental vendors, suppliers, and internal functions.

Responsibilities include purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, and coordinating with field leadership to meet startup needs while upholding Mortenson’s safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Associates degree with 1+ years rental equipment or construction experience, or 2+ years in a related role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to travel 100% and work with diverse project teams across locations.

Mansioni

• Follow procedures for receiving and processing equipment facility orders and returns.
• Source equipment internally and via 3rd party rental/service suppliers.
• Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals.
• Reconcile and process billing for contracts, invoices, and work orders daily.
• Support electronic and physical inventory management on project sites or facilities.
• Lead Pre-Mob and monthly equipment review meetings with project teams.
• Dispatch and schedule equipment deliveries and plan logistics.
• Handle DOT registration and respond to DOT/driver inquiries.
• Provide equipment solutions and maintenance recommendations to project teams.
