Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Equipment Specialist – Traveler to support project teams and equipment facilities. The role requires 100% travel, with assignments typically 3–4 weeks on-site and ~1 week at home.

You will manage orders, sourcing, PO creation, billing reconciliation, and inventory reporting to ensure smooth project operations. The position emphasizes building client relationships, LEAN initiatives, and coordination with field and HQ teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for equipment facility orders and returns.
• Source equipment internally and via 3rd party vendors.
• Create purchase orders for equipment and rentals.
• Process and reconcile billing for contracts and work orders.
• Support electronic and physical inventory management on sites.
