Job summary

Lemartec is seeking a Senior Electrical Superintendent to efficiently schedule, manage, and coordinate subcontractors and trades to meet the Master Schedule. Strong leadership, planning, and knowledge of plans, specs, codes, and safety are required.

The role involves traveling up to 100% across the US to support projects nationwide, with opportunities in various states. A degree in engineering/construction preferred, with extensive superintendent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 years’ work experience as a construction Superintendent; 10+ years if no degree.
• Strong scheduling, planning, and document control abilities.
• OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of superintendents, project field engineers, and other field staff.
• Permit document administration and control.
• Review and understand subcontractor’s scope of work.
• Coordinate safety meetings and overall project safety responsibility.
• Control project access and traffic.
• Oversee tool/equipment inventory, coordination, and rental.
• Coordinate project testing and certificates including concrete and soil tests.
• Coordinate with PM/PCM/PFE daily on progress, subcontractor performance, QA/QC and reporting.
• Prepare and update the 3-week look ahead schedule and master schedule with PCM.
• Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore).
• Maintain As Built drawings for final submittal.
• Coordinate and schedule project inspections and final close-out documentation.
• Quality control of installed materials and equipment.
• Site layout and bench-mark control.
