Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling TeleComm Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment and install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, safely control all required machinery, and verify utilities by potholing to map routes across diverse sites.

This role requires at least a high school diploma (or GED) and a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, plus willingness to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (cannot be Provisional) and driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including capabilities, limitations, and setup.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Up to 100% travel.
• Other duties as assigned.
