Job summary

TelCom Construction is seeking a Traveling Telecomm Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. The role requires operating drilling equipment, determining bore paths, and verifying utilities, with responsibilities including site setup and heavy equipment operation.

The position offers full-time employment with up to 100% travel, a wage range of $24.00–$35.00 per hour, and benefits such as weekly pay and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, setup, and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
