Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and operate complex drilling equipment in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities include scheduling bore activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety in all weather conditions. Must have CDL with tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain it, and possess a valid US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including bore operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control drill equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Use Mud mixing systems as required.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Manage site set-up, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions; perform other duties as assigned.
